Sunflower & American Goldfinch

Spring is a great time to watch birds. They are at their most colorful to be attractive to mates. An American Goldfinch takes your breath away with its bright yellow front and striking contrast black and white ladder back. The sunflower is another beautiful yellow. I also see symbolism in the American Goldfinch and the sunflower that represents Ukraine. Beyond the meditation that inspires, we explore how to make darks using light colors like yellow.
