Butterfly & Flutterby

When you open the sketchbook, butterflies escape! First, we paint a butterfly using pen and ink and watercolor. Next a background is added using Brusho - dye-based crystals that explode with color when spritzed with water. In another video we make a fluttering butterfly using kinetic tension of a rubber band tethered to a safety pin and hairpin. This is flattened in a card or book so when the book is opened, the butterfly literally flies out of the pages. The goal is FUN!
