A Boy and a Frog

If you visit the Denver Botanic Gardens you will see an amazing array of many types of gardens. Just like a painting, a garden can have a focal point. In the herb garden there is a sculpture that definitely captures the eye. The title plate says 1898 by Elsie V. Herring and donated by the Herb Guild. It captured my attention and thought it was the perfect subject to explore the variety of colors in white. White is the reflection of all color. Colors bounce and reflect from surroundings. Try this project with me live Tuesday in the zoom class or watch the video at your leisure.
