The ABC's of design
The alphabet is a good structure to compose paintings. In this week's video release I explain a simple way to design your next painting using the ABCs. Well designed paintings are the ones that win awards. Watch the quick video first at www.showcaseartcenter.com on the video page. Second, do the homework and create a page of small ideas from your photos or the reference photo provided. Classes next week at Showcase in person:
Monday 1:30-3:30 PM Oil Painting portrait video
Tuesday NO CLASSES. You are invited to Wednesday classes or painting the assignment at home.
Wednesday morning 10:00 to noon individual projects on your own with friends
Wednesday afternoon 1:30-3:30 PM for the ABCs of design step-by-step
Enjoy the beautiful fall weather by getting out and finding images and inspiration to make art!
