Oh Deer!

Artists can rearrange elements in a photograph to improve a painting composition. This is an example of choosing to place the deer in a triangular relationship. The 3 deer are dark set in a middle value field with light value foreground and sky. The deer were limited to a buck, doe and fawn to tell the story of family. Infinite possibilities exist using the combinations of light, middle, and dark, in small, medium and large shapes. Try this one or make your own arrangement.
