Apple Harvest

What a treat to pick Red Delicious apples from your own tree! That does not always happen because I live in northern Colorado where we often get a late frost, early frost, locusts, not enough rain, etc. But this year we won the lottery with apples. What better way to memorialize them than with a painting? This lesson uses two paint techniques to guarantee success: a unifying under wash and a connected dark shadow. Watch the video on the video page of www.Showcaseartcenter.com (subscribe for only $10/month) or paint with me by signing up on the class page and joining live at Showcase or zoom Tuesday 2-4 PM MT. Join the community chat by showing up early at 1:30 for show and tell share. Bring an apple or hot cider to enjoy a fall afternoon with me.
