Christmas Cardinal

Merry Christmas! Here is a fast project that is composed of red and green. At 10-20 degrees below zero today I put a juicy background on the painting and put it outside to see if it would freeze the watercolor wash into crystals. Who says we can't have fun in Colorado? It did a subtle bit of texture - might try it again. This video, without the outdoor freeze, is up on the video page of www.showcaseartcenter.com now. Hope you get a moment to paint this busy week.
